Albionspitz Eurasiers

so after 3 hours sleep we laid wide awake at 2.30 am!!! calgary time and so after waiting for the sun to slowly rise we set of to the word famous Calagary Zoo at 8 am and so arived when all the animal were just coming out. the moning had started with rain but steadly got hoter and hoter and so by mid day we were melting.
I have posted some photos below of some of the animals we sore at the zoo, once we had finished at the zoo we got the train back into the city center and then found our bus (our so we thought!) once we were on the bus we relised we were on the rong one and so spent 40 minuets geting a tour of north west calgary ! but in the end we got to the corect part of town and had to walk a fue blocks for about 15 mins back to the hotel so all in all not to bad :-)

We set off from gatwick air port and after a long 9 hours arrived in calgary. For the 2008 eurasier confrence being hosted by the Canadian Eurasier Club.
Were Dietlinde of the Canaidan Eurasier club kindly collected me And Jasmine from the air port and to our hotel.

I accompanied olwen of Silmoralbion Eurasiers to the world dog show in Stockholm, Sweden.
Were I handled Both her dogs Arry and Boo for 2 shows.

It was a wonderful trip and we were delighted when Boo was awarded WORLD WINNER 2008 what a star! And for me a wonderful moment, as boo was from one of my very first litters and it was lovely to know that my breeding could hold it own against all the other Eurasier from Europe .

We camped next to the sea and had wonderful weather and I was sun burnt by day 2 of our trip!

Their was also a sad part to the trip, as I had taken Bailey with me as he was moving to Norway, to live with 3 other Eurasiers at kennel Dazzling dainty.
Bailey has lived with me for 1 year, after he returned to me when his family was no longer able to care for him, at the time I agreed to keep bailey for 12 months to see if they could get back on their feet. When the 12 months were up it was not possible for bailey to go back to his original family.
Ingunn had loved bailey since her trip to the UK to Pick up Else as a puppy.

So I agreed that bailey could move to Norway and so it was a sad day when I had to leave him with Ingunn, but I am pleased to say he has settled well and Ingunn has give me Dailey updates on his activities and adventures .

I look forward to seeing him again soon on my next trip to Norway!
